Want To Get To A Castle But Don't Know How?

We've all read historical novels about princesses who had to be rescued from a castle and great battles that took place to win their hearts. 

Thousands of castles are spread throughout Europe. They are great witnesses of the Mideval years.

People started building them in the 10th century for protection. They changed with the renaissance era, they became harmonic with the surrounding nature. More attention is given to the interiors. 

Czech Republic is very rich with castles. There are about 2500 objects - from buildings used for protection in the early days to romantic housings surrounded by forests and lakes. You can get into any practically castle and you have at least two options to do so: 

• If the castle is a museum or a historical object you can visit it as a tourist
• If the castle is a home to its owners or destroyed or abandoned you can visit it as an interested buyer of this property for sale 

The majority of castles in the Czech Republic are in disrepair. Thus they can be purchased for a relatively small amount of money. These castles are also most interesting for those who are passionate about old architecture. Some see this purchase as long-term investments, others buy a castle to make a cosy home for their family. 

It doesn't really matter, what the reason of your interest towards this or that castle is. You always have to get there. The easiest ways is to get to one of the five business aviation airports (the largest airport is of course in Prague, but don't forget about Ostrava, Brno, Pardubice and Hradec Kralove) and then travel from castle to castle by car or by helicopter.
