Fotos From Business Jet Window

When we're flying a business jet we always have these great views that we really want to take pictures of. These pictures often turn out to be not so interesting, so here a re a few tips for making great shots while flying a jet.

Best views usually open up when we're approaching the point of destination. Having the option to pick any place you like on a private jet it might be a good idea to sit where you have the best light and view. 

There is usually no vibration on business jets unless you are flying a helicopter or a propeller aircraft. Make sure you have those anti-vibration settings on.

In any case  it’s best to use a fairly quick shutter speed of 1/250 sec or faster when taking photos from private jet windows. The speed at which the ground is passing below you will appear to increase dramatically as the aircraft goes lower, and especially when coming in to land – at which point 1/500 sec is an even better option. 

An aperture of around f/8 to f/11 usually yields the best quality results in photos from airplane windows so, if lighting is fairly dull, increase your camera’s sensitivity setting to enable the best balance of aperture and shutter speed.

To avoid unwanted reflections, position the front of the lens as close and parallel as possible to the window.
